Uncle Guy, Uncle Karl, Uncle Ernie & Mom, 1971 Peter A. Cunicelli Jr.
Made in 1971 in my Aunt’s backyard, this picture holds true to everything I love about photography. Using his Nikon F my Dad was somehow able to capture a moment in time and everyone’s personality all at once.
For me, a good photograph regardless of how it was made will maintain a life all of it’s own. With my camera, I try and work with a situation to make photographs I can’t repeat. Usually unplanned and in the moment a good photograph will go beyond what I see in front of me and reveal itself after the fact. It’s this amazing reality about a photograph that keeps me looking for more. The most current work is found on my blog as I post regularly images from photo assignments or from personal projects. Additionally, you can purchase my images directly from Photoshelter.
Thank you for taking the time to review my work… Ed
